I first heard of Tim Mara when I was interning at Proud Galleries in London.
An invitation was sent to the gallery for a preview of his prints from the '70s at Flowers Graphics.
I immediately fell in the love with the image on the cover of the invite.

I never saw the preview, but I was able to keep the invitation.
Without which, I might never have remembered, or been reminded of, the artist whose work I was so drawn to.
I don't know much about him.
Except that when I first heard his name spoken aloud, I had no idea we were talking about a person.
I thought we were referring to timara (tomorrow).
English accents aren't always so easy to understand.
